Playing Lessons
Most golf teachers spend 90% of their lesson time teaching the golf swing on the driving range and 10% on playing lessons. With a Play the Game School Playing Lesson, the focus is reversed. The Playing Lesson includes approximately 2 hours of on course instruction with the pro, a golf cart, and greens fee. When the lesson is over, the student is encouraged to play out the remaining holes on their own for no additional charge. During the playing lesson, the full swing, short game, and trouble shots are taught as well as on course strategy. The focus is on learning to hit the target by selecting the correct club for the shot and then assuming the correct stance and alignment. If you hit a bad shot, your teacher is there to talk you through the rules and what to do to recover.
